The only thing better than rooting for the home team is rooting for the home town. That home town – our community – is what drives @properties and our non-profit foundation, @gives back.
Last month at the Friendly Confines, @gives back presented a $100,000 check to The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, which raises money for cancer research and provides support to children and families battling the disease. The foundation was established
by none other than Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo, who learned firsthand that cancer is as trying for families as it is for patients.
To help the cause, @gives back took on a number of fundraising initiatives last year, headlined by the Strike Out Cancer event. More than 300 people came together for a fun-filled night that featured Rizzo, a silent auction and live entertainment.
We’re grateful for all the support we’ve received from the community, and look forward to keeping the momentum going through our newest partnership with The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation. The organization does incredible work to fund innovative breast
cancer research and we’re proud to show our support in any way we can.
